Follow the life and career of "Stormy", a Hanoverian mare bred at the Gut Heidehof in Weiskirchen, Germany by American dressage rider, Stephanie Law. Stormy is by the World Champion of the 6 year old dressage horses, Sandro Hit, and she is out of the Hanoverian mare, Wind Dancer. Wind Dancer was bred by Marg Love in Palm Bay, Florida and Wind Dancer is the daughter of the Love's Elite stallion, Watch Me, who was ridden to be on the short list of the 1992 US Olympic Dressage Team by Michael Poulin. He did not compete on that team, but he won numerous Grand Prix's and Grand Prix Championships. Stormy is now starting her training with German Grand Prix rider and trainer, Peter Mertins who owns and operates the Gut Heidehof. Peter has successfully trained a number of horses to Grand Prix and is currently the trainer of Nicole Casper who has been the German National Champion at the Bundeschampionate twice. |
